Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Pick for Britain. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the people strategy and maximizing company capability.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for administering learning and development solutions. You will extract, record, and present information from Personal Development Plans to identify capability and L&D needs.

You will also support the Senior Technical Competency Training Manager in analyzing learning and development needs linked to the annual appraisal process. Additionally, you will input training and medical records for the organization and contractors, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of learning and development solutions
  • Extracting, recording, and presenting information from Personal Development Plans
  • Supporting the Senior Technical Competency Training Manager in analyzing learning and development needs
  • Inputting training and medical records
  • General filing of training and development records
  • Issuing required reading and mandatory training for new starters
  • Scheduling of Training and Development Activities
  • Running and taking action from expiry reports
  • Liaising with external training providers
  • Assisting in the development and coordination of Career Pathways
  • Managing the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Providing administrative support to the Mentoring Scheme
  • Producing management information to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a CIPD L5 or equivalent qualification or relevant experience working as an L&D Professional. Knowledge and understanding of Nuclear Site Licence Conditions are also essential.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Calderbridge, Cumbria, with hybrid working arrangements.
