Job Description:

Electrical Maintenance Team Leader

ATA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance engineers in performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems
  • Conduct reactive maintenance and predictive maintenance (PPM) on all electrical aspects of machinery
  • Responsible for fault finding and repair of electrical systems
  • Work on fast-paced food production machinery, including control panels, circuits, 3-phase power, wiring, sensors, relays, inverters, etc.
  • Collaborate with production staff and shift supervisors to ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical systems

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3 (certificates required)
  • Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles (i.e., 5s)
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness
  • Able to work autonomously with a 'right first time' mentality
  • Experience within fast-paced manufacturing food production environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual
