At Richmond and Wandsworth Councils, we're committed to creating vibrant local neighbourhoods where people can thrive. As a Senior Planner in our Place Division, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our boroughs.
We're looking for an experienced planner to join our passionate team working on development management, strategic applications, spatial planning, conservation & urban design, planning obligations and enforcement. Your expertise will help us deliver homes that meet the needs of local families and public spaces that improve outcomes for residents and businesses.
Our new Place Division is focused on delivering positive change at pace, enabling a coordinated approach to place-making. We aim to create connected places where people enjoy spending time – for leisure, shopping, work, learning, or play. Salaries are subject to experience, but based on the seniority and location, it's estimated to be around £65,000 - £85,000 per year.
We work hard to support investment in inclusive and sustainable environments. Our vision is to ensure high-quality places are designed around people and for people, with innovative engagement to ensure local voices are heard and communities are at the centre of shaping plans as they develop.
