At Nuffield Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planner to join our team on a fixed term contract basis.

As a Strategic Financial Planner, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning of all Nuffield Health financial requirements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasting. This is a dynamic position that will support the Executive and Senior Leadership Community with their ongoing planning to achieve the charity's long-term strategic goals.

The successful candidate will contribute to our mission to build a healthier nation by delivering high-quality financial planning information to senior management, driving effective decision-making, and supporting profitable growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the daily movement of cash in/out and forecasting the cash month-end position.
  • Preparing the 13-week rolling cash forecast and longer-term cash forecast model, including scenario modelling.
  • Supporting the production of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow projections through various planning cycles, with input assumptions, challenge, review, and output.
  • Providing analysis and business insight from a planning perspective to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Conducting month-end analysis of actuals versus comparator for certain areas of the P&L.
  • Developing financial and non-financial KPIs and MI metrics to understand performance and improvement areas.

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
