Role Overview
Kent County Council is seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual to join its Continuous Improvement team as a Strategic Improvement Specialist.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering process improvements, business transformation, and embedding Lean Six Sigma methodology within an organisation.
Key responsibilities will include defining problems, identifying and quantifying root causes, designing and implementing solutions, measuring impact, and ensuring improvements are sustained.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, creative, and analytical in their approach, with excellent facilitation, presentation, report-writing, and communication skills.
As an employee of Kent County Council, the successful candidate will receive training suitable to the role and to support their development, along with excellent benefits.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position, and the Council has a statutory duty to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

Key Requirements
