About the Role:

As a key member of our client's central finance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering strategic and operational finance services across their network of sites. With a proven track record in financial management, you will help maintain and enhance the financial health of the organisation, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with the CFO to execute strategic finance initiatives and deputise as needed. Lead the production of three-year budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  2. Financial Management: Oversee the monthly management account process, ensuring timely and accurate forecasts. Maintain internal controls and support system enhancements for finance software.
  3. Audit and Compliance: Lead the year-end audit process and internal audits, ensuring accurate and complete financial schedules. Ensure compliance with the company handbook, Company law, and external regulatory bodies.
  4. Operational Excellence: Provide financial leadership across the organisation, supporting managers with sound financial data for decision-making. Maximise value for money and ensure effective financial controls and procedures are in place.
  5. Team Leadership: Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
