Care and Support Specialist

As a Care and Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients live fulfilling lives. Your main responsibility will be to provide high-quality support tailored to their individual needs, empowering them to reach their goals and aspirations.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Supporting adults with various needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health
- Helping them flourish in their own homes by providing practical assistance with daily tasks and activities
- Encouraging independence and autonomy through goal-setting and planning
- Participating in activities like cooking, art, or music, as well as outings and events
- Managing medication, shopping, health needs, and hygiene, as well as maintaining a safe and tidy environment
You'll work closely with our team to develop personalized support plans that cater to each individual's unique needs and preferences. Your commitment to delivering exceptional care and support will make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A good general education
- Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion for making a positive impact
- A commitment to our organization's values and objectives
- Satisfactory police checks and relevant background checks
- A willingness to undertake training and development opportunities
Demonstrated skills and experience in social care are desirable but not essential. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
We offer a competitive salary of £11.44-£11.70 per hour (dependent on qualifications), plus a range of benefits, including:
