Women's Development and Community Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our programme focused on women's empowerment in Northern Ireland. As Women's Development and Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing resources that improve the awareness, knowledge, and capacity of women to engage with decision-makers. You will also work closely with our programmes team to develop and promote resources that support local women to build their confidence and capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women from grassroots communities. The estimated salary for this role is £36,124-£37,938 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop resources to improve awareness, knowledge, and capacity of women to engage with decision-makers
• Work with our programmes team to develop and promote resources that support local women to build their confidence and capacity
• Build networks and contacts across stakeholders to accelerate collaboration between women and decision-makers
• Support grassroots women to raise their voice and influence decisions that affect them
Requirements
• Relevant third-level qualification and three years' experience in a similar role, or at least five years' experience in a similar role
• Significant work experience in community development approaches, working with urban and rural women, and establishing good relationships with community groups and statutory agencies
• Strong facilitation skills, effective management of budgets, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly effective organisational and time management skills, including ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
