**Job Role**: Programme Communication & Engagement Lead
MPA Recruitment are delighted to be hiring a Programme Communication & Engagement Lead (Band 8A) Officer on behalf of our prestigious client based in the Belfast Area.
The Programme Communication and Engagement Lead is a key role within the Equip Programme Team. The postholder will take lead responsibility for the development and implementation of a Communications and Engagement workstream and will work in conjunction with all relevant stakeholders to develop, deliver and evaluate communications and engagement strategies, plans, and activities to support the delivery of the Equip Programme across 16 organisations.
Due to the nature and scale of the Equip Programme, the postholder will be required to work with complex and sensitive information and act as the communications link between the Programme and a range of senior stakeholders. This will include explaining complex information at various regional senior leadership forums and wider staff forums in relation to the implementation of the Equip Programme and the transition of staff to new systems and associated new ways of working.

**Duration**:6 months (with Possible extension)
**Hours of Work**:
- 37.5 hours per week. Mon - Fri (9:00am -5:00 pm)
**Salary**:£26.06 Per hour
**KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
The postholder will be responsible for the provision of specialist communications advice to senior stakeholders across Programme and regional governance forums. This may include advice and recommendations on issues which require considered and careful management and co-ordination across multiple stakeholder groups to effect successful outcomes. The Post holder will design and deliver Programme messaging for diverse audiences across 16 HSC organisations including public-facing communications and external stakeholders.
The postholder will be responsible for resourcing and leading an appropriately skilled Communications Team to meet the Programme’s strategic communications needs and ensure effective communications and engagement with all impacted stakeholders throughout the duration of the Programme.
Key deliverables for the post include:
- Communications and engagement strategies
- Communications and engagement resourcing plan and recruitment & management of communications team
- Communications and engagement plan(s)
- Provision of specialist communications advice and leadership to senior stakeholders
- Develop, implement and evaluate communications strategies, plans and campaigns across 16 HSC organisations.
- Develop, implement and evaluate appropriate communications strategies, plans and campaigns across public-facing and external stakeholder groups
**Essential Experience**:
experience working within a Communications function in a large-scale, complex organisation*

1b. Have at least 5 years relevant experience working within a communications function in a large-scale, complex organisation*
2. Demonstrable experience and skills in communications management. A proven track record in advising senior officers, formulating messaging and responding often within tight deadlines.
3. Proven experience and skills in leading on proactive communication strategies and
campaigns in relation to high profile and complex projects, working with a broad range of
stakeholders.

Pay: £26.06 per hour
