Job Title: Academic Workforce Manager

The role of a Cover Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational institution. In the absence of regular teachers, they are responsible for managing the classroom environment, maintaining student behavior, and delivering pre-prepared work.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared work to students, ensuring they stay on track with their studies
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff
Requirements

A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics is essential for this role. Additional qualifications in education or related fields are desirable, as is prior experience working in a school or educational setting.

  • Strong understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Basic knowledge of the education system
  • Excellent organisational skills
Additional Qualifications
  • Higher education qualifications in a relevant field
  • Previous experience working with young people

This is a full-time contract position that requires interacting with students, teachers, and school staff daily.
