About the Role

The University of Oxford is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead its student records and data management efforts. As the Head of Student Records and Data Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of student records, which are critical for a variety of purposes including student loans, academic transcripts, and visa applications.

You will work closely with multiple teams to manage and curate the University's student records within a complex environment with multiple systems of records. This will involve leading the development of policy and practice in student record matters to ensure that services meet the standard of excellence expected and that academic integrity is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the review and analysis of operational processes to provide effective services for staff and students
  • Develop and implement enhancements to supporting systems to improve data management and analysis
  • Promote data standards and lead on the development of policy and practice in student record matters

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to manage and lead large teams and a diverse workforce, as well as experience with stakeholder management and negotiation. You will also need to have a strong understanding of data protection and information security.
