This challenging position requires an experienced commercial lawyer with exceptional problem-solving skills. You will provide strategic advice to our co-founders, C-suite, and other leaders on essential matters related to contract negotiations, commercial law, and data protection. If you possess experience in drafting and negotiating supplier contracts, this could be your ideal opportunity.

About the Job:

  • You will lead the Legal Team in delivering strategic counsel to stakeholders.
  • Supervise the achievement of objectives and key results for the team.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Teams to facilitate efficient deal closures.
  • Design and implement robust data privacy compliance protocols.
  • Ongoing improvement of the company's legal frameworks and processes.
  • Cultivate effective partnerships between the legal and commercial departments to boost business efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing profitability and mitigating risks.

Key Qualifications:

  • A highly experienced solicitor (England and Wales) with a minimum of 6 years PQE in an in-house legal department or leading law firm.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-experts.
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent thought, decision-making, and driving change in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • A genuine desire to delve into the world of anti-fraud measures and apply your expertise to propel business growth.
