Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Healthcare Specialist to join our team in Cumbernauld Community Nursing Team within Kenilworth Medical Centre. This is a permanent, full-time position with 37 hours per week.

The estimated salary for this role is £43,041 - £57,298 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of the Integrated Primary Care team and other multi-disciplinary groups. As a Community Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to all age groups in the community by working in partnership with patients, care providers, and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Community nursing team to provide a quality nursing service
  • Function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency, and experience
  • Be accountable for a caseload over a 24-hour period
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve healthcare goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
  • SPQ District Nursing/Nursing in the Home or equivalent Post Graduate Study
  • Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
  • Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively, and efficiently
