About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at Hospital at Home in Lanarkshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with registered therapy staff to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service.
- Implement, adapt and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
- Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient-centered programmes across a variety of clinical settings.
- Discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- HNC in healthcare, education or social care, or SVQ III in healthcare, education or social care, or equivalent experience in a health, education or social care environment.
- Short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area.
- Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
- Knowledge of the therapeutic process, techniques and/or activities relevant to client group.
- Basic assessment skills.
- Ability to apply a range of technical and practical rehabilitation skills.
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.
- Ability to work individually, or as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning.
- Car Driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.

Salary
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
