About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will have responsibility for assessing care needs and developing programmes of care, as well as implementing and evaluating these programmes to deliver high-quality care to patients.

The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision. They may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assess care needs and develop programmes of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • To implement and evaluate programmes of care, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care
  • To work as part of a team and contribute to effective ward or department operations
