London, Greater London, United Kingdom CHARITY PEOPLE Full time

We are an award-winning charity that uses film and TV to enrich and support the lives of people affected by dementia. Our mission is to provide a stimulating and connected experience for those living with dementia, improving their mental health and supporting their essential care.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our charity forward during a period of significant change. We are shifting our model from in-house sales and marketing to a partner-led approach, and we are seeking an experienced and confident leader to lead this transition.

The Interim Chief Executive will be responsible for all aspects of our charity's work, including governance, finance, income generation, and impact. You will work closely with our Board of Trustees to deliver our immediate strategy and develop financial and operational models for potential partnerships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing financial and operational models for potential partnerships, including scenario planning and P&L analysis.
  2. Leading negotiations and bringing in commercial, accounting, or legal support as needed.
  3. Working with the Board to create a strategic plan for My Life TV and new dementia-focused services.
  4. Overseeing daily operations, including finance, income generation, content production, partnerships, and reporting.
  5. Securing necessary funding through trusts, foundations, care groups, and events.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a passionate and entrepreneurial leader with a strong track record of driving change and delivering results. You will also need to be able to cultivate a positive environment, recruit and restructure as needed, and provide coaching to enhance team performance.

If you are a motivated and experienced leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia, we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV and a cover letter explaining how you believe you can support us as our Interim Chief Executive.
