Program Development Supervisor

Job Description- Internal Program Development and Delivery:
- You will oversee and contribute to the development of Abilities Centre internal programs, including summer camps.
- Assist in facilitating evening programs, field trips, and other programs as required.
- Oversee the scheduling of Abilities Centre staff for internal programs and complete bi-weekly payroll and monthly schedules for staff.
- Support program staff as needed and contribute to the development of staff culture with quarterly staff meetings and individual staff check-ins.
- Collaborate with the Research Department in creating and implementing program evaluations to gather participant, parent, and teacher feedback.
- Physical Literacy and Education:
- Support the Senior Coordinator in the delivery of Physical Literacy workshops and certifications.
- Work with the Senior Coordinator on the development of virtual and video programming to support You. Me. We. Virtually Together Programming.
- Support in the delivery of You. Me We. Programming with partnering Children's Treatment Centres and Children's Hospitals.
- Oversee program registrations and lead communications between participants, families, coaches, and staff.
- Education and Knowledge:
- Post-secondary education in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or Therapeutic Recreation, or related.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in program delivery and evaluation.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or initiatives/programs that focus on inclusion.
- Communication and Relationship Building:
- Dedicated to a participant experience that exceeds expectations.
- Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills to manage multiple demands.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with initiative and a positive attitude that contributes to a work environment that values innovation.
