Executive Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Thermëa spa village in Whitby. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our menu offerings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate chef to join our team. You will be reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage and will be responsible for leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices to achieve value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Possess significant experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a similar hospitality setting.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Be creative and innovative in your approach to menu development and kitchen operations.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
