About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Northcroft, a dynamic school environment dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for children with additional needs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals that cater to the diverse dietary requirements of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for children with various dietary needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, Trauma, and specific Learning difficulties
  • Work closely with the Headteacher to plan and create menus that meet the nutritional needs of our students
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Relevant culinary experience, preferably in a school or similar environment
  • Confident in managing a busy kitchen and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Current Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen certificate
