Weekend Young People Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Young People Support Worker to join our team at Depaul UK. As a key member of our Youth Hub team, you will play a vital role in delivering our innovative pan-London accommodation service for young people aged 18-24 who have slept rough or are at risk of doing so.
Your primary responsibility will be to work with a caseload of clients, providing one-to-one and group support opportunities to increase their resilience and well-being. You will also contribute to ongoing needs and risk assessments, leading on risk and needs assessments and support planning for your key clients.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have experience in managing a service in a support setting, with a focus on continuous improvement in working with young people with complex mental health needs. You will need to have a clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures, as well as experience working with the client group and an understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, and substance use.
You will also need to have a knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning, and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures.
