Account Manager - Publishing & Events

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Account Manager - Publishing & Events to join our team at KHR Recruitment Specialists. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading events and exhibitions company, managing key B2B accounts and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the management and retention of key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and continued business growth.
  • Maintain existing year-on-year sponsorship agreements with key clients, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Generate new business opportunities while developing current business accounts, leveraging industry connections and expertise.
  • Represent the brand at trade events, showcasing products and services to key decision-makers.
  • Provide support and administrative assistance across all departments within the business, as required.
  • Attend events and exhibitions, including an annual event hosted in a different European country each year.
Candidate Profile:
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of success in client account management.
  • Ability to retain clients and build new business, with a strong understanding of the publishing and events industries.
  • Extensive client account management experience, with a background in digital or publishing preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to travel across the UK and internationally when required, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Interest in technology would be a bonus, but not essential.
