About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and organised Clerical Clerk to join our team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Ward Manager and deputy Manager on patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  2. Greet and direct patients, relatives, staff, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience.
  3. Maintain accurate records using the Patient Administration System (PAS).
  4. Liaise with nursing staff on patient discharges, including property collection, note dispatching, and transport arrangements.
  5. Prepare clinical coding forms for patient episodes and ensure medical staff completion.

What We Offer:

An estimated salary of £23,000 - £25,500 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
