Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 Basic, £70,000 OTE

Job Summary: We are currently looking for a Speciality Product Manager who will manage the sales of specialty chemicals including resins and additives to manufacturers in the UK: surface coatings, paints, adhesives and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of budgeted targets and KPI's as set
- Increase revenue, gross margin and number of trading customers
- Representation of the company at relevant trade exhibitions and specific events
- Proactively provide business development proposals, properly qualified and quantified
- Key relationship builder with customers, Principals and colleagues (all stakeholders)
- Work closely with Specialities Team & QMS to ensure we meet customer and Principal requirements and enhance service levels to both
- Travel both within the UK and occasional International (training and trade shows) will be required as part of this role
Requirements:
- Science Degree in Chemistry / Polymer Science / Material Science / Chemical Engineering with a few years in technical sales or purchasing
- Experience within the sectors surface coatings, paints, adhesives and construction would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivated and capable of managing your time effectively
- The ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently
- A good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Full UK driving licence required
- Awareness of Industry specific legislation such as REACH
