Job Description:

Senior Computing Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Computing Educator to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a Senior Computing Educator, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our computing curriculum, ensuring that it is engaging, challenging, and relevant to the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive computing curriculum that aligns with national standards and guidelines.
  • Lead a team of computing teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the computing curriculum and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other subject leaders to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum across the school.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in computing education and implement best practices in teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior leader in a computing department.
  • Strong knowledge of computing education and curriculum development.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
