About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scotland Energy Planning Coordinator to join our team at National Grid. As a key member of our regional team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering our regional energy strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of our regional engagement strategy, working closely with stakeholders and colleagues across the organization.
  • Ensure regional stakeholders and their views are captured in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and engagement materials.
  • Design and support workshops and engagement activities with the Regional Strategic Board, working groups, and other regional stakeholders to progress our regional energy plan.
  • Draft clear, concise, and relevant reports and slide packs relating to stakeholder engagement in progressing our regional energy plan.
  • Ensure our regional engagement planning and delivery is coordinated with other regional and central teams.
  • Have a good understanding of National Grid and our regional energy planning function when engaging local actors.
About You

We are looking for someone with excellent coordination and planning skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience of communicating with and influencing internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels.

You should have experience of working with or within large, complex organizations, ideally in the energy and/or local government sectors, and be familiar with customer relationship management tools and databases.

A strong organizational and administration skills with a proactive approach to flexibility and engaging others is essential, as well as an inquisitive mind with the ability to join the dots and a willingness to learn about new areas of work.
