Payroll and Benefits Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Hermès. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll, benefits, and compensation-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage payroll processes for all employees in the UK and Ireland, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  2. Oversee payroll system updates, data integrity, and functionality to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  3. Collaborate with Finance on payroll liabilities, reconciliations, and discrepancies resolution.
  4. Maintain payroll guidelines, policies, and procedures, advising management on required actions.
  5. Prepare period reports for senior management by compiling earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, etc.
  6. Ensure compliance with key laws, proactively liaising with HR to identify payroll changes resulting from employment legislation changes.
  7. P11D management and reporting.
  8. P60 management.
  9. PSA and tax management relating to company benefits.
  10. Support the Payroll Specialist with preparing the annual payroll calendar.
  11. Provide ADP and payroll training to relevant staff members.
  12. Expat payroll processing & tax returns.
  13. Act as the main liaison for Benefits Advisors, keeping HR and Finance Directors informed of market changes.
  14. Management of Employee Free Shares Awards.
  15. Coordinate Annual Benefits Review with Benefits Advisors and Senior Management.
  16. Deliver Payroll & Benefits presentation to new joiners.
Business and People Analytics & Audits:
  1. Annual Salary Benchmarking & Salary Bandings.
  2. Ensure preparation and support for annual Finance and adhoc HR Audits.
  3. Ability to communicate and deliver a high-quality service in a client-centred manner.
  4. Experience working with ADP as an outsourced payroll provider.
  5. Ability to work closely as part of an HR team with excellent interpersonal skills.
  6. Exemplary project and time-management skills, able to navigate conflicting priorities independently.
Requirements:
  • Confident technically to become familiar and utilise various software platforms.
  • Able to manage expectations and ask for help where required.
Estimated Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
