About the Role

The Corporate Partnerships Officer is a key member of the RIBA Corporate Partnerships team, responsible for managing and delivering corporate partnership contracts and activities to maximize the benefit for both the corporate partner and the RIBA.

This role involves overseeing a portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring their effective stewardship and strengthening their relationship with the RIBA to support long-term income growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain corporate partners, and will be responsible for managing and motivating staff to ensure they continue to advance their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver corporate partnership contracts and activities to maximize benefit for both the corporate partner and the RIBA.
  • Oversee a portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring their effective stewardship and strengthening their relationship with the RIBA.
  • Work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain corporate partners.
  • Manage and motivate staff to ensure they continue to advance their skills and knowledge.
  • Attend client meetings and internal stakeholder and management meetings as the representative of the Corporate Partnerships team.
  • Responsible for the administration of all corporate partner income and ensure that all payments are recorded and accounted correctly and as per the contracted terms.
  • Maintain appropriate systems for the management and reconciliation of the Corporate Partnerships budget.
  • Provide comprehensive and timely reports summarizing corporate partnership activities against set objectives and goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a membership, media, or events organization or charity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • An ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A knowledge of the architecture and construction industry would be an asset, though not essential.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
