Trainee Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner

Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Trainee Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for children and young people.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioral difficulties. This will involve working closely with children, young people, and their families to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
Key Requirements- A good degree in Psychology or a related subject
- Experience of working with children and young people, with a strong understanding of how to communicate effectively with them
- Some experience of working within a mental health setting or school pastoral care
- Strong communication, IT, and organizational skills
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing training and development, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. They will also have excellent IT skills, including a high standard of letter and report writing.
