About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner Trainees in Berkshire. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with children and young people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties, and provide evidence-based interventions to support their mental health and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild-moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioral difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the team
  • Provide support and guidance to children and young people, as well as their families and carers
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement new interventions and programs

Requirements
  • A good degree in Psychology or other relevant subject
  • Experience of working with children and an understanding of how to talk with them
  • Some experience of working within a mental health setting or school pastoral care
  • Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills
