Employee Relations Advisor

As an ER Specialist at Mitie, you will join a team of expert advisors who support our managers in making our company a great place to work. Your role will involve advising and coaching managers on employee relations cases, ensuring fair and just policies are upheld while balancing risk and commerciality.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the office, with flexible working available. We support continuous development, including those who wish to continue or begin their CIPD studies, via the apprenticeship levy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of complex ER issues using your knowledge of ER and employment law
- Utilizing technology to remotely deliver a quality service to our customers across the UK and Europe
- Exposure to a wide variety of contracts across many sectors
- Collaborating with experts in our legal team and Occupational Health providers
Requirements include:
- CIPD qualified or looking for the opportunity to be supported with your studies
- HR shared service centre experience preferable
- Proficient IT skills, including MS Office
- Experience using an HR case management system
Competencies include:
- Curious thinker with excellent research and communication skills
- Strong customer service focus and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative
