Audiovisual Solutions Specialist

About the Role
A highly skilled Technical Support Professional is required to join the rapidly growing team at QSC UK. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and innovative environment where they will have the opportunity to take ownership, think creatively, and make a significant impact on the company's success.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of audio, video, and networking, with strong experience in supporting audio visual or IT infrastructure services. They will be commercially astute, with the ability to understand a complex sales process, and possess exceptional technical ability, with a detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Applications support and QSC Training content to the UK, Ireland, and Nordic markets.
- Ensure the highest level of customer experience whilst identifying solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including programming, commissioning, and network configuration.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers, ensuring all issues are logged and addressed.
- Maintain and build an excellent relationship with customers and end-users.
- Attend industry training and develop relevant knowledge and skills to enhance performance.
- Deliver training on Q-SYS products to programmers, system designers, and commissioning engineers.
- Deliver pre-sales system designs for projects across multiple verticals.
- Travel to the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions to deliver training to distributors and integrators and provide support.
Qualifications
- Education to degree level or a qualification in an industry-relevant field.
- Comprehensive understanding of audio, video, and networking.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, installation Engineer, AV programmer, or similar role.
- Strong experience in supporting audio visual or IT infrastructure services.
- Commercially astute with the ability to understand a complex sales process.
- Proven expertise managing complex systems within a corporate AV/IT environment.
- Exceptional technical ability with a detail-oriented approach.
- Well-organized to manage conflicting priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, individually and as part of a team.
- Confident and engaging presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for all types of audiences.
