Job Overview:

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Birmingham. As a successful UK-based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy specialising in Civil and Structural Engineering, we are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer with 1 year of experience to take part in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, school, and leisure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  • Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or TEDDS.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and modify design drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to observe construction progress and verify compliance with design specifications.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or TEDDS.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
