Exciting Opportunity for a Structural Engineer

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join their Birmingham Building Structures team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across various sectors, including education, commercial, residential, defence, energy, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop structural solutions for a wide range of building structures
  • Contribute to the development of the multi-disciplined project team's approach
  • Assist in the execution of projects within defined design and cost parameters
  • Undertake research, data collection, and presentation of information
  • Present results to clients under the supervision of a lead designer
  • Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
  • Experience with parametric modelling software and software coding (Dynamo, python, C++ etc.)

Requirements:

  • Degree in structural or civil engineering
  • Graduate Member of a relevant body (IStructE or ICE)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the design of structures using conventional engineering materials
