About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mental health support worker to join our team at ABL Health Ltd. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Undertake professional initial assessments of young people and provide ongoing and one-off interventions.
  • Develop alternatives to one-to-one therapeutic work, including group work and peer support interventions.
  • Facilitate peer support interventions with and for children and young people.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to young people and their families.
  • Maintain confidential case notes and records in a timely manner, ensuring they are stored securely using our case management systems.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to assess and manage risks, including child protection and safeguarding concerns.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written.
  • Ability to work under high pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Understanding and evidence of adhering to information governance and data protection policies.
