About the Role

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide key worker support, including one-on-one guidance and coordination with mental health agencies.
  • Focus on individual needs, utilising communication, motivation, and coaching to help service users reach their goals.
  • Build respectful, honest relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct.

Requirements:

  • Experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • I am a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient and willing to learn
  • I can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
  • Experience of working with digital systems including Microsoft applications, email and internet.
