Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Facilities Engineer to join our Site Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our data centre infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on data centre equipment, including generators, UPS systems, and HVAC systems
  • Collaborate with the Data Centre Technicians team to ensure seamless operation of the data centre
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of data centre systems
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data centre maintenance and repair, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems, and building management systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Electrically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
