About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Security Officer to join our team at ECF Data, LLC. As a Data Centre Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and safety of our premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control Management: Manage access control for buildings and car-parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
  • Site Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • ID Verification: Verify the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors using a professional and friendly approach.
  • Alarm Response: Respond to alarms and take necessary actions to ensure the security of the premises.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV, to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Health and Safety: Identify and report potential health and safety issues and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents and events using computer-based systems.
Requirements
  • Security Qualifications: Hold a valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: Have at least five years' checkable history and references, with experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal records check to the required standards.
Desirable Qualifications
  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) License: Hold a valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) license.
  • First Aid Qualification: Possess a valid first aid qualification.
  • Security Experience: Have experience in a similar role.
