About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Screening Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT literacy, excellent timekeeping skills, and a keen eye for detail.

This position involves working an average of 30 hours per week, monitoring the security hatch alarm system, and overseeing the keys and locks mailbox. If you are committed to maintaining high security standards and thrive in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the security hatch alarm system and report any faults
  • Manage the keys and locks mailbox, handling all requests and returns
  • Develop, monitor, and update Security Technician site visit routes
  • Manage the Security mailbox, allocating tasks to Security Technicians
  • Centrally collate information on Security Technician annual leave, sickness, and monthly reports
  • Produce reports on security events, trends, and activities
  • Conduct physical site security checks in the absence of Security Technicians
Essential Skills
  • SIA Licence required
  • At least 3 years of experience in the security industry
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
  • IT literate
  • Good timekeeping
  • Five years of checkable employment or education history
  • Right to work in the UK
