As a Senior Risk Management Professional at SCOR, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing risk-related matters within the organization. You will be responsible for reporting to executive and board committees, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders across different business units. Your role will involve leading Risk Management projects, working closely with international teams, and mentoring junior team members. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing risk management frameworks, conducting thorough analyses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, assess, and monitor the risk control environment to ensure the organization's overall risk posture
- Lead risk assessments and reporting processes to provide actionable insights to executive and board committees
- Develop operational risk scenarios to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with business teams to identify emerging risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Prepare materials for internal and external risk reporting to ensure transparency and compliance
- Support business areas in designing key controls to ensure effective risk management
- Coordinate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) trainings and communication initiatives to promote a risk-aware culture
Requirements:
Several years of experience in risk management or a related field, with a focus on Property & Casualty commercial lines. In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory standards is essential. Strong project management skills, ability to work autonomously, and excellent communication abilities are required.
Education:
A Risk Management qualification or a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field is preferred.
