We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurse to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cardiothoracic suite, with access to cutting-edge technology and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the anaesthetic process.
  • Prepare equipment and drugs, ensure patient safety and comfort during anaesthesia, and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Contribute to quality assurance programs, stay updated with research findings, and reflect on clinical practice.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and organise work, provide clear instructions and support, and address poor performance effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain confidentiality, promote health and safety, identify and address hazards, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
