Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Oncology Care Coordinator to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse to provide clinical leadership and coordination of the delivery of a comprehensive oncology service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the Thoracic Oncology team.
  • Coordinate the delivery of a comprehensive oncology service.
  • Support the development of clinical strategy for Oncology Care.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical colleagues to improve patient care and experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid NMC registration.
  • Professional non-medical prescriber or willingness to work towards.
  • Root Cause Analysis / Investigation training.
  • Experience working within Oncology.
  • Experience in staff development- mentorship, coaching, supervision.
  • Experience at Band 7 or above.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional and managerial development.
