Clinical Oncology Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a CCT in Clinical Oncology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
This is an 8 PA post to start ASAP for a period of 6 months. The successful applicant will join ambitious and supportive teams at The Oncology Centre, where patients receive the highest standards of care in diagnostics, surgery, radiotherapy, and systemic therapies, with holistic support throughout their illness.
Main Responsibilities:
The duties of this post include providing radiotherapy and systemic therapy for patients with head & neck tumours and supporting the weekly MDTs. You must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
Working with Us:

Our team consists of experienced professionals who share our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. We use advanced radiotherapy techniques, including SABR, IMRT, VMAT, and motion management, and participate in various clinical trials.
The successful applicant will be expected to maintain the highest clinical standards in their specialist cancers and contribute to clinical research, taking advantage of world-leading scientific advances being made on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
