About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced product management professional to drive the growth and profitability of our Large Engine Oils product line. As a Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive product line strategy that drives market resonance, customer satisfaction, and industry partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market-led strategies, product development, and value proposition selling approaches. You will also possess excellent business acumen, including a good understanding of financial aspects such as pricing, margins, and profitability. Ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders, both written and verbal, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a product line strategy that ensures competitiveness and alignment with industry, OEM, and end-user requirements
- Establish market insights by analyzing data and trends to guide future product development strategy
- Understand and convey customer needs, competitor analysis, and market trends to inform product development decisions
- Collate and analyze market intelligence to determine product, pricing, and margin positioning
- Develop and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the marketplace
- Ownership of the product lifecycle from conception to commercialization and beyond, ensuring timely delivery and profitability

Requirements:
- Degree or related qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Industry experience: preferably 5+ years within the specialty chemicals, lubricant, large engine (Marine, Stationary Gas, Railroad) or adjacent industry
- Strong background in 'market-led' strategies, product development, and value proposition selling approach
- Business Acumen: Good understanding of the financial aspects of the product line, including pricing, margins, and profitability
