As a Wedding & Special Events Manager at De Vere, you'll be at the heart of our hotel, turning initial enquiries into extraordinary events. Your passion for events and exceptional communication skills will shine as you conduct captivating show rounds, showcasing our venue to the local wedding market.

This is a full-time role that involves working a variety of shifts, including 8:00am-16:30pm, 9:00am-17:30pm, 09:30am-18:00pm, and 11:30am-20:00pm. Weekend working is shared between the team, and we aim for the team to work every other weekend, although flexibility is required to cover holidays.

Your Skills and Experience:
  • You will ideally have previous experience in a similar position, preferably within a 4-star quality hotel or events venue.
  • You are passionate about events and prepared to put your heart and soul into delivering memorable experiences for our guests.
  • You forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and our valued guests through your excellent communication skills.
  • You are confident using IT software, and familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
  • You share our values, such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every detail is considered.
