Role Overview

De Vere is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wedding and Special Events Manager to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning and executing weddings and special events that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct captivating show rounds to showcase our venue to potential clients
  • Plan and coordinate weddings and special events from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences
  • Communicate effectively with clients, operational teams, and vendors to ensure all event details are met
  • Work closely with our sales team to convert leads into bookings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues to ensure repeat business and referrals

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
  • Passion for events and ability to deliver memorable experiences for guests
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Confidence using IT software, with familiarity with Opera software a plus
  • Alignment with De Vere's values, including being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every detail is considered
