Sourcing and Procurement Excellence:
Castle Employment Agency Ltd is seeking a skilled sourcing and procurement professional to join their central procurement team in Leeds. As a key contributor to the group's purchasing operations, you will perform various administrative tasks and provide support to the procurement team.

About the Position:
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving escalated invoice issues and vendor queries, creating purchase and framework orders in our company's ordering system, and managing our vendor database. You will also support the procurement team, communicate with internal teams, and provide monthly reports on vendor performance. To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar procurement/purchasing role and possess IT literacy with experience using systems like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and RedSky.

Main Responsibilities:
• Resolve escalated invoice issues and vendor queries in a timely and professional manner
• Create purchase and framework orders in our company's ordering system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Manage vendor database, ensuring annual updates on compliance, insurance, and accreditation
• Support procurement team with meeting scheduling, report preparation, and database maintenance
• Communicate with internal teams on supply chain timelines and vendor performance
• Provide monthly reports on vendor performance
• Identify and recommend improvements to procurement processes

Requirements and Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:39am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. The salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
