Sales and Administrative Assistant Job Description

This Sales and Administrative Assistant role involves providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Providing administrative support to the sales team, including processing orders and handling customer inquiries.
  • Cold Calling: Engaging with potential clients through outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Tender Management: Assisting in the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Upselling: Identifying opportunities to upsell products to existing customers, maximizing sales and revenue.
  • Liaison with Orders Team: Collaborating closely with the orders team to ensure smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: A similar sales administrative role is preferred, with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer service.
  • Cold Calling Experience: Comfortable making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products and generate sales leads.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, especially in preparing tenders and processing orders.
