About the Role

The IT Procurement & Asset Administrator will be responsible for undertaking duties related to user account administration, ensuring security and audit compliance. This includes lifecycle management for all managed IT assets, including procurement, security, cost tracking, inventory, usage, and disposal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews and approves/rejects IT procurement requests
  • Processes IT invoices in line with company procedures
  • Maintains accurate inventory of devices across the estate
  • Manages service requests using company standard tools and processes
  • Escalates IT issues within the team
  • Performs asset lifecycle management

Requirements

  • Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers at senior business level
  • Ability to work within a team, assisting others to achieve a common goal
  • Holds oneself accountable for performance standards and demonstrates behaviours in line with the service delivery strategy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to work and continuous improvement
  • Ability to listen and be open to ideas and suggestions from others
  • Uses initiative to ensure high importance deadlines and SLAs are met

Essential Qualifications

  • Secondary School level qualification
  • 1+ years working within an administrative capacity or within a technical services support desk
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2010 and newer
  • Understanding of IT Service Management protocols

Desirable Qualifications

  • ITIL Certified
  • MCSA
  • Previous experience using helpdesk applications
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, including PCs, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Some post-18 education (Third Level Qualification)
