Senior Residential Care Manager

Core Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to lead our residential home dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties (SEMH).

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a real difference in the lives of young people and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, manage, and deploy staff effectively to maintain a supportive environment for young people.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory standards and consistently delivers outstanding care, with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for residents.
  • Work closely with senior management to plan for the home's future, ensuring continuous improvement and strong financial performance.
  • Maintain robust systems for reporting and recording to meet Ofsted and internal standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to enhance the home's reputation and ensure ongoing placements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years in a residential care setting, with 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • A relevant professional qualification at level 4 (or higher) and management qualification in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Strong business, management, and financial acumen, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A confident, positive role model with excellent communication skills and a commitment to high standards of care.
