Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Allen Associates. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll tasks for our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payrolls for clients, ensuring all deadlines are met and payroll actions are compliant with relevant legislation and contractual obligations.
  • Provide advice to clients and employees on payroll queries and ensure all payroll reporting requirements are met.
  • Calculate benefits and produce P11d's & PSAs, submitting to HMRC as required.
  • Set up assistance on new PAYE schemes and handover payrolls, as well as setting up pension schemes as needed.
  • Deal with Auto Enrolment enquiries and set up Auto Enrolment pension schemes.
  • Perform manual calculations as required and make calls with HMRC on PAYE related queries.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of processing end-to-end payroll tasks within a bureau.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle a busy workload with an accurate sense of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with stakeholders of all seniority clearly and concisely.
  • Punctual and organized, able to meet deadlines within a timely manner.
  • Education to A-level or equivalent and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and payroll processing systems.
